I am so blessed to have the opportunity to photography this rare moment with all of Kaitlyn’s grandparents with her at one year old. My parents always say my children behave better when I’m not around but I’m not sure Kaitlyn is the same. She is always a doll! Thank you everyone for being such great sports for the session. What we won’t do for our grandchildren! Happy Mother’s Day to Mom & both Grandmothers. I hope this is the perfect gift!

Doug & Bianca were married last Saturday. I was so honored to be a part of their amazing day! I met them though Bianca’s parents. They owned a great restaurant that my crazy, very political friends & I frequented every Friday morning for a taco & tough cup of coffee. They sold the restaurant & retired a few years ago. Lucky for them. Sad for us! Anyways, it was a beautiful, touching evening. The father-daughter dance brought the whole room to tears. Hope you had a great honeymoon in Mexico!
Congratulations to Victoria! For the second year in a row she has won the title of “Photogenic Champion 2010″ at the “Talent on Parade Dance Competition” last weekend. I hope I get the honor of photographing her again next year. Three’s a charm!
I was so honored that my friend Madeline had me stop by to photography Kelli & some of her friends on Prom Night. These are kids I’m used to seeing around town in their soccer uniforms (no wait, that was years ago), I mean cool cars and Abercrombie+ clothes. Anyways, it was fun to see everyone dressed up. I heard they all had a wonderful time & got home safely. Whoo! Friends of Mom’s whose babies go to prom worry too!

I don’t normally share alot about my personal life on my blog but this was a very special event & I love the photo! On March 12th my husband Joel & I renewed our wedding vows after 16 years of marriage. We love South Padre Island so we travelled there with our children and they participated in the ceremony. I now understand why my clients are calling to say “when can I see the photos, when can I see the photos”. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these. I hope you enjoy! My prayer for you is that you are blessed with the gift of remembering why you got married at many times in your life.

I shot this beautiful high school senior last night. As I mentioned below the wildflowers are in full bloom. Kelsey & her “entourage” were amazing. We photographed downtown & then moved on to a private field of bluebonnets. Sessions like this remind me again how much I love what I do!
